Eminem topped the survey for the highest mentions of prescription drugs. Three 6 Mafia bagged the most number of marijuana salutes. Meanwhile, Lil B is a little more inclined to cocaine and MDMA. Rap songs were filtered and measured by a survey spearheaded by Project Know, a US-based drugs information and education organization. A specific formula was created to measure the mentions for particular substances including their slang aliases.
Drug-inclined and illegal-substance-related songs include those rapped by Death Grips, Ice-T, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Afroman and the Roots. Eminem will be showcasing his prohibited talent in singing on two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium, this July.
