B.B. King apologized for rambling during a recent concert in St. Louis. He was erratic during the April 4 concert at the Peabody Opera House, coming up with long stories and a 15-minute sing-along version of "You Are My Sunshine." People were shouting at the 88-year old to "play" instead of rambling. The music icon's rep released that the rigors of the 24-hour long drive from Las Vegas to the Gateway City, plus the fact that he forgot to take his diabetic medication that day, resulted in a concert performance that "did not match Mr. King's usual standard of excellence. Mr. King apologizes and humbly asks for the understanding of his fans."
